From March 17 to March 18, the YOU & I club promotion was held. The University of Seoul’s club members performed on a stage to attract ‘10 freshman. Tables were installed around the stage. Each club’s members showed what they had to offer to freshman students.
For example, the magic club “Prism” showed a fantastic magic card trick, the Pungmul club “Eolssigu” pleased everyone by playing Janggu and other Korean instruments, and the guitar club “Mizirim” had a student playing a guitar on the stage. Also, each club gave students a stamp when they dropped by their table. Once a student collects six stamps, they could enter a lottery.
The first prize was Korean beef. I spoke to a freshman student, Ms. Seo (School of Business Administration ‘10) and she said, “As soon as I watched the dance show, I was determined to join the dance club RAH. I wanted try a new experience.” Likely, many freshman want to stimulate their campus life through joining a particular club. So get out there, join a club and be part of the UOS campus life!
