The voluntary program was for middle school and high school students in Dongdaemun-gu and Jungnang-gu who had little chance to take private lessons. Students studied fundamental subjects with teachers, who are UOS student volunteers, from July 25th to August 19th in UOS buildings or at the UOS Community Welfare Center.
They were also advised about their future careers. After the program, voluntary teachers received certificates for Volunteer Management System and 1 credit for community service for the fall or winter semester in 2011.
