University of Seoul (UOS) annually sets up promotional booths lined up in front of the Student Hall. This year’s promotion lasted for two days from March 21 to March 22. It is essentially two days of promotion that clubs who are seeking creative and passionate freshmen gain their new members. The official UOS broadcasting station JBS introduced some of the Central Clubs on air all day long and Student Council built a temporary stage for performance-based clubs. Club performances were mainly staged and aired during lunch and dinner time.

Not only did the newcomers enjoy the promotion, but the passerby students could also freely go from booths to booths to finally decide on which clubs they want to join. Some clubs provided distinctive experiences and attractions. R.A.H., the famous dancing club had a special dancing floor. Members danced various dance genres on this very floor and spectators were dazzled by the performances. Most of the club booths provided snacks with most popular snack being instant cotton candy from ‘Lawmence’, the law researching club. You did not have to join the club and could just enjoy the spectacles, but it would be meaningful to become newcomers of a club and start enjoying different part of campus life.
