▲ To commemorate the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Microsoft held a showcase event in April at UOS

On February 1, University of Seoul (UOS) formed a partnership with Microsoft Korea for the adoption of ‘Smart Campus.’ Through this partnership, UOS expects to improve the environments of education and school administration. Microsoft claimed that it would soon provide consulting in order to bring ‘Smart Campus’ into UOS, support the university’s cost reduction in school governing and improve administrative services at campus. For students, Microsoft promised to provide Live@edu, a free domain, which would allow them to receive free e-mail services from Microsoft. In addition, through Microsoft Student Partner (MSP) program, students can supposedly take advantages of participating in Global Event and have opportunities for internships at Microsoft Korea.
