From April 28 to May 8, the Main Library has undergone major renovations. The renovations concentrated mainly on removing asbestos, replacing window frames, and waterproofing the roof. UOS students were temporally barred from entering the Main Library for safety reasons.
The ronovations were designed to peel off asbestos from the building, since it can damage students’ health. In addition, Water leakage was also fixed to protect the books at the library and prepare for the rainy season.
