The Jeonnong Sports Festival was held on campus from September 10 to 21. Every major worked to gather their best athletes to participate in the various events. Diverse sports games, such as basketball, soccer, badminton and team jump rope, were played. Throughout this sports festival, the UOS aspired to encourage UOS students to participate in sports.

Many students participated by either representing their majors or by playing a sport or cheering for them. Not only did the Jeonnong Sports Festival promote UOS students’ physical abilities but it also allowed students to create intimate bonds with one another since teamwork was required.

The champions were decided by summing up the points from each event. This semester, the UOS included two new events, team jump rope and Samsun slippers (famous three-lined slippers worn by students in Korea) throw, that were easy for anyone to play. These additions aimed to drag the attention of UOS students who are already comfortable with sports such as basketball and soccer.
