However, this semester, as a replacement, the UOS has come up with a new program called ‘Global Lounge.’ Global Lounge is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. To become part of the Global Lounge, you need to email to phuhaha21@naver.com: your name, major, year, student number, email, cellphone number, sex and lastly, what you are interested in reading and debating about.

Once you apply and your time gets arranged, you will be given a chosen article or an English article to read about. The sessions will start off with short icebreaking games and students will slowly begin sharing what they have read and debate with one another. A native English speaker will be listening during the session and help students to speak English more proficiently. You are expected to be able to communicate in English and attend consistently, so to those of you who are interested and qualify, take this opportunity to enhance your English ability by joining Global Lounge.
