The annual ‘A Dialogue with the President of the UOS’ was held in Natural Science Building on Nov. 28 for seeking deep communication between students and the president Lee, Kun. Both students and professors attended this conference. The event proceeded with the presentation on blueprints of the future UOS by the president and then, the question and answer session. The major conference room where the conference held was full of students eager to converse with the president.

The president, Lee, Kun along with members of the Professor Association faculty listened to the questions and opinions from the attending students and answered them accordingly. Students inquired about the issues on campus janitor labor union issues, solutions for job-seeking seniors, spatial distribution and enhancement of certain scholastic programs. International students also attended this conference and shared their discomfort as international students. One of the main issues that heated the conference was about spatial allocation for students because students need extra seminar rooms for casual team-projects. This issue also mattered for international students due to limited dormitory rooms and selected place for the whole international student body meetings.

After the fervent discussion, the conference ended with a lottery for students who attended. ‘A Dialogue with the President of the UOS’ conference became a communication ground and students were able to confide at this unusual chance to talk to the head of the UOS.
