The Student Council, Chungchoon Story, holds a ‘Culture Day’ with a free film screening program every 3rd Monday evening at 6 p.m., in the conference room located on the 1st floor of the Natural Science Building.

The ‘Culture Day’ was newly developed this year to help students enjoy their cultural life and escape temporarily from hectic routines. Many students are too busy with their assignments and tests to enjoy a cultural life. Especially in balmy April, students have to cram for midterms and refrain from their desire to go outside, so the Student Council held the second ‘Culture Day’ on April 15. Usually, the Student Council takes a vote about a week earlier, both online and offline, to select films to show on the ‘Culture Day.’ Students can vote for a movie they would like to watch through Facebook or in front of the Student Hall during the voting period. This time, All About My Wife was selected. In addition to the free film screening, you can buy popcorn at 1,000 won, provided by the Student Council.

The ‘Culture Day’ is also a part of social contribution activity, so not only UOS students but also local residents can enjoy this program. The profit made from selling the popcorn and the support fund from the Social Contribution Bureau of Chungchoon Story will be donated to the local community welfare hall as a culture promotion fund.
Are you too busy to enjoy your cultural life? Do you need some rest while studying on campus? Do you want to make special memories with your friends or family? Then come and enjoy the ‘Culture Day’!
