Many of the facilities in the Student Hall could not be used due to the renovation. Annekan, the cafeteria located on the 2nd floor of the Student Hall moved to the 1st floor temporarily and facilities on the basement floor such as a convenience store or an optician had to be closed and moved to another place. Also, objects in the club rooms were moved to a seminar room located on the 2nd floor before the construction began.
The scheduled renovation period was from July 1 to Aug. 20, but it was delayed a few days. Moreover, not only the Student Hall but other buildings also went under small scale renovations. Some building’s electricity was out because of electricity safety tests and repair work. Thanks to all of these renovations, students are expecting facilities of better quality for this semester.
