Following renewal of the main school website, UOS carried out multiple reforms on other websites in the university network during the winter vacation to create a more efficient and convenient online experience. The new portal can be described, simply, as “all in one.” It connects all of the websites at the school including the main homepage, the school email, WISE, Educlass, UOS Club, and Gwangjang. Educlass and UOS Club, previously used only to provide study materials and notices from professors, were closed and folded into the new portal. Currently, students can only access the aforementioned websites from the directory on the new portal.

However, there are some negative opinions on this new system. Won Ji-sun (Dept. of Urban Sociology, ’11) pointed out that it seems easier to access UOS Clubs and WISE straight from their addresses than through the portal. She feels that there was not enough promotion or explanation of the new system, and consequently, some are choosing to stick with what is familiar.
