On Apr. 30, the 3rd Sports Day for College of Public Affairs and Economics was held. All of the departments competed in various events such as soccer, basketball, dodge ball and so on.
Dept. of Public Administration won the first place in soccer and group jump-rope, the School of Economics won in basketball and stepping on balloon, and the Dept. of Science in Taxation won at relay race. All departments showed equally outstanding performances which made it hard to predict which department will bear the palm. Finally, as a result of doing the sum of winning points of each department, Dept. of Public Administration won the championship of the whole event.
Lee Sun-young (Dept. of Social Welfare, ’14) said, “It was a good chance to become more familiar with other students while practicing since we could work out together. There is also much to be desired because we could not watch other department’s athletic meetings. And there were opinions that since the event was held during weekdays, students could not watch some of the matches which were clash with classes, and there was not enough cheering for the teams.
