Paul McCartney performed at Jamsil Sports Complex Main Stadium on May 2, 2015. Despite the rainy weather, about 45,000 enthusiastic people enjoyed the three-hour concert. Fans could rejoice in McCartney,s songs, with plenty of numbers that he wrote for the Beatles, along with his post-Beatles catalog.
The Beatles, for those who do not know, was a legendary rock band now remembered as a monumental group who altered the history of music. The queen of England has honored all of them, starting with a member of the British Empire for all four in 1965. McCartney, however, is the only Beatle to be knighted, becoming a Knight Bachelor in 1997 for services in the field of music.

McCartney is also listed in the Guinness World Book of Records as the most successful pop musician, historically. He is also the most prolific of the Beatles, having recorded albums at regular intervals over most of the last 40 years since the Beatles disbanded. About 50 songs that he performed on have made the Billboard Top 10 charts, including ones made after the Beatles, either as a solo artist or with his second band, Wings. “Penny Lane” is one of many Beatles songs that he penned, with his trademark emphasis on melody. “With a Little Luck” is an example of a song that McCartney wrote post-Beatles and recorded with Wings. It is also a cheerful number that can bring people to their feet to dance. These lyrics and melodies are highly recommended, whether you are feeling low and need excitement, or you want to enjoy pleasant weather like these days of spring and summer.

“Penny Lane”

Penny Lane there is a barber showing photographs
Of every head he’s had the pleasure to have known
And all the people that come and go
Stop and say hello
On the corner is a banker with a motorcar
The little children laugh at him behind his back
And the banker never wears a mac
In the pouring rain...
Very strange
Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes
There beneath the blue suburban skies
I sit, and meanwhile back
Penny Lane there is a fireman with an hourglass
And in his pocket is a portrait of the Queen.
He likes to keep his fire engine clean
It’s a clean machine
(Trumpet Solo)
Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes
Four of fish and finger pies
In summer, meanwhile back
Behind the shelter in the middle of a roundabout
A pretty nurse is selling poppies from a tray
And though she feels as if she’s in a play
She is anyway
Penny Lane the barber shaves another customer
We see the banker sitting waiting for a trim
Then the fireman rushes in
From the pouring rain...
Very strange
Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes
There beneath the blue suburban skies
I sit, and meanwhile back
Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes
There beneath the blue suburban skies...
Penny Lane.

“With a Little Luck”

With a little luck, we can help it out.
We can make this whole damn thing work out.
With a little love, we can lay it down.
Can’t you feel the town exploding?
There is no end to what we can do together.
There is no end, there is no end.
The willow turns his back on inclement weather;
And if he can do it, we can do it, just me and you,
And a little luck, we can clear it up.
We can bring it in for a landing,
With a little luck, we can turn it on.
There can be no misunderstanding.
There is no end to what we can do together.
There is no end, there is no end.
The willow turns his back on inclement weather;
We can do it, just me and you.
With a little push, we could set it off.
We can send it rocketing skywards.
With a little love, we could shake it up.
Don’t you feel the comet exploding?
With a little luck (repeat and fade)
