UOS took first place in both the integrity field and sales of ventures established by students.

 UOS is selected as the most upright university among national and public universities in Korea. The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission conducted a survey about integrity of Korean national and public universities from September to November in 2016. According to the result of this investigation, UOS got 6.54 point. The average was 5.92 points, and 6.54 of UOS was the highest point among the integrity points of Korean national and public universities. Also, UOS was the only university to get a first grade in the integrity field among 36 Korean national and public universities. When the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission first conducted the investigation in 2012, UOS was only ranked 19th.

Furthermore, ventures founded by UOS students recorded the highest sales among the enterprises established by the university students. As the establishment of business craze has risen among university students, UOS is also supporting students through various ways such as ACE Business and Global Foundation supporting projects. As a result, many UOS students succeeded in establishing enterprises, and those ventures recorded the highest sales. According to the University Industry-Academic Cooperation Activities Investigation Report, the sales of the enterprises by UOS students were about 1 billion and 30 million KRW. It was more than the sales of enterprises by Kyonggi University, which was about 480 million KRW.

About the news that UOS is the most upright university, Won Yun-hi, President of UOS, said, “Accomplishing the first place in integrity would be impossible if school members did not make an effort consistently. UOS will strive highly to be an upright university through making clean policies.”
