I returned to school after finishing military service this year. After class, I luckily saw the banner of The UOS Times recruiting club-reporters. Since I was interested in writing in English, I thought “this is a good chance for me to enjoy my campus life.” After joining and writing articles, I realized The UOS Times is a great place for me to have fun with my colleagues and seniors and to enhance my English ability. Although I have a little difficulty writing English articles now, I believe that my English will improve, and that someday I will write articles skillfully.

During military service, I became interested in writing articles in English. That’s why I joined The UOS Times after starting this semester. Since it is my first time to write an article as a journalist, I’m not sure whether my article is sufficient. However, I will do my best and hope that you read it comfortably!

I am really grateful to be able to join The UOS Times. Only three months have passed since I entered the University of Seoul and joined The UOS Times. I hope to learn as many things as possible and I believe this club will help me to do that.

It is a great challenge for me to work as a reporter at The UOS Times considering the fact that this year is my first year at UOS. Although only half of a semester has passed, the time that I have spent here at The UOS Times has taught me lots of valuable lessons. I have learned much about UOS and found out how to approach writing and to have my own opinions about news happening at UOS. Being a reporter at The UOS Times, I look forward to having more instructive experiments and enjoying the increasing prosperity of The UOS Times as time goes on!
