Kim Jung-gon

This semester is very busy because I have five courses just in my major, but it is still worth it to make an effort on the Cover Story. By researching and dealing with information on commuting, I have started to empathize with the students of University of Seoul (UOS)’s ordeals in commuting. I was able to suggest improvements to UOS to make commuting easier and to solve housing issues near campus. For the 148th issue, I will join this magazine as the editor-in-chief, and in that role, I will work hard to provide useful, meaningful content and to reflect readers’ opinions more accurately.

Kim Ga-eun

I was worried about working at The UOS Times because I am not good at writing, and I often feel pressure about English. However, other reporters have helped and taught me a lot, so it was easier to write the article than I thought. I want to thank them. Also, I was happy to meet new people. I am so sad that some reporters are leaving next semester. I will miss these people a lot and I hope that they can fully enjoy their lives.

Writing in English is harder than I thought it would be. I had to use a dictionary often when I was writing articles. But it has given me be a chance to know more about our university. It is already May. About half of the semester is already over. Trees are green, the weather is nice, and everything is good, except that I have so many assignments! The only one thing I hope for is finishing my course.

I had decided that I would join the reporting team for the school magazine even before coming to UOS. So, when I finally got the chance, it felt like a dream come true. I have reconnected with my passion for writing, and I have such a great team to work with.

Writing an article was difficult, especially because it had to be written in English. However, the process of preparing the article was a lot of fun, and I was happy to work with other good reporters. With many of them leaving The UOS Times after this issue, I feel sad. But at the same time, I am looking forward to for making the next issue with new reporters. I hope I can be a reporter for The UOS Times as long as I possible.

Park Hyung-min

As a reporter for The UOS Times, I have written my first news articles. These day, I feel that my life is rather complicated. I cannot explain the emotions I feel about the first semester of my sophomore year. During my first semester of The UOS Times, I met good people and learned so many things from them. A farewell with my senior reporters is so sad but I believe our relationship will continue. Nice to meet my comrades and good bye.

I am glad that we finished this article successfully. Thank you for giving me a chance to learn. Not only did I  learn with other members, but I also cultivated knowledge based on the understanding of school news. The good to go for the great. It was nice to meet all the members of the 34th and 35th team of reporters. Thank you.

Applying to The UOS Times is one of the best things I have done during this semester. Thanks to The UOS Times, I could meet many good people and have interesting experiences. I am looking forward to the future activities that I will do with colleagues. It makes me happy that we are sharing common interests. I would like to make meaningful memories with people by cooperating and spending time together.
