From May 15 to 17, the University of Seoul (UOS) held a festival called Daedongje. The festival was held under the concept of Kidult. So, various events had been held with a concept of borrowing motifs from oriental and western fairy tales; such as The King Has Donkey Ears and Snow White. Also, the title of festival Becoming Absorbed signifies both the meaning of “fairy tales” and “assimilation.”

There were many things to enjoy at this festival. Although mini pub was not able to do so because of prohibition of selling alcohols by a law, the vacancy was filled by a food truck and various club booths. At Jungang-no (the Central Road in English), there were various kinds of food trucks so that many participants could entertain our festival. Also, students were able to enjoy many activities at the club booth; such as baseball throwing competition and buying goods for several cats living in UOS campus. Moreover, diverse performances were prepared by the Central Clubs. There were several performances with performing classics, rock music, and taekwondo. In nighttime of festival, famous celebrities in Korea; such as including BOL4 and WINNER came to our university and performed with participants.
