Shedding New Light on the Familiar: An Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition
When I take a stroll on the campus, I wonder where the sculptures came from. All sculptures are so elaborate that I thought that they were made by artists. Thanks to this article I realized that UOS are full of professional sculptors. One of my friends who is an exchange student asked me about the meaning of these art works, and I wanted to explain the meaning of it especially in English. However, there is no explanation about them, so it is sad that I could not explain their purposes.

The Most Important of All: Mental Health
These days, my friends and I are trying to get a job, but most of us fail and feel depressed. Before reading this article, I thought this depression was just temporary symptoms and suppression is the best treatment. However, now, I found a new treatment; just talking about my feelings with anyone. Also, I advised one of my friends who was suffering from severe stress to visit the Psychological Counseling Department in UOS. Also, right now, I talk about my failure in getting a job with my friends and am trying to overcome my own mental illness.

Do you Hear the Hong Kong People Sing?
Before reading this article, I had no idea about the Hong Kong crisis. However, this made me reflect on my ignorance about the meaning of real democracy. Also, I found a really sad news. A police officer had shot an unarmed 21-year-old male university student in the stomach. Reading about the Hong Kong protest, it reminded me of the ‘Candlelight protest of Korea’ 2 years ago. I hope that everyone who is joining the protest does not get hurt.

Labor Laws to Protect Our Right
Thanks to this article, I’m planning to take a class about labor law at our university. As I have CTA (known as tax accountant) certificate, people around me ask about EITC (Earned Income Tax Credit). When I advise them on how to get more tax credit, I look up on labor laws by myself. It is hard for me to apply labor laws to each situation; I used to almost give up on helping people about EITC. Also, how to calculate statutory-leisure pay and overtime premium was really well explained in that I took a picture of this and sent it to my friend who has a part-time job.
