In fact, the UOS lacks international organizations than other universities. Nowadays, it’s important to have the international cooperation with foreign countries or universities. The university should strive to set the highest standards in global management education for their students.

In this way, the UOS manages the Continuing Education Center, which opens the Lecture of Korean Language and the Tourist Attractions in Seoul for Foreigners. However, those do not allow the UOSians to participate. Those are only for Seoul citizens other than the UOSians. So, the UOSians find it hard to get international experiences.

To be an international university, it should open to the world regardless of whom. The UOS should promote the international organization in campus for students like Yonsei University’s Global Lounge or Hanyang University’s International Zone. The 21st century will be the time to put its name the UOS in the top list with other universities around world through constant reshaping for the better.

The Continuing Education Center (CEC) was established to satisfy the Seoul citizens’ needs of learning in 1997. It provides high-quality continuing education to Seoul citizens to enhance their awareness as Seoul citizens. And the CEC has tried various things including a reemployment course for the jobless since it was opened.

Lectures are provided by professors of the UOS, participants of city and external experts who are suitable to the field. And 80% of lectures are done by incumbent professors. A few months ago, it moved to Gwanghwamun for better accessibility, and launched a new era of education paradigm. Moreover, it started to open foreign-oriented programs for free. This shows its effort corresponding to the educational goal of the UOS to be globalized.
