1. Why is women power in politics increasing? 39 Congresswomen were elected for the 17th National Assembly among 299, taking up 13% of the whole Congress people.

It’s about twice the number compared to 16 people in the 16th National Assembly. Old existing powers in politics are starting to crack because people become disappointed with the 16th National Assembly and they were longing for new faces to come out.

2. Are there differences between women and men in politics? We tend to think women are different from men because of conditional factors. We should not consider the reason as the born-natural factor. The bias that women have to taking care of men is causing the deeper division of gender roles.

Showing the true nature of women in society is what we have to pursue. The social prejudices on women should be eliminated. Presently, women who work are educated during gender-separating period. They have to use both their knowledge from their experiences and education. Then, they should start competing with men in the fields they can show their ability.

Women have to show their ability in the fields they are good at and better than men. That way, it will be easier for them to make ways for the next generation women to enhance the women power.

3. What path should leading women take? First, they have to show acknowledgeable achievement in their duties. Second, they should not be corrupted by the people who believe in them. Finally, the way to become a congresswoman is slightly different, but they should remember that they got elected because of the premium of being women. So they have to use their position to reflect women’s opinions and their concerns.
