Three articles from the 75th issue of The UOS Times attracted my attention. My eyes went to the first editorial, “Don’t Forget Your Duty, Media” which emphases on the role of media with the Ohno case, to the second article “To Be Fair or to Fail” that discusses the importance of the sportsmanship in sport games and to the third article “What Do You Think About Alternative Military Service” which deals with problems of military service.

Especially, I read the article very attentively, “What Do You Think About Alternative Military Service”. I was interested in opinions about the alternative military service and the problem of military service in other countries. I have tried to find a solution to the problem.

I had an opportunity to learn about their culture through the article of “Why Don’t You Enjoy Other Countries’ Culture?” But I was sorry that you did not give information about other countries that we cannot go and experience with ease.

And the article “Groupies Take a Powerful Influence on the Rights” deals with the topic about blind love for idol groups of teenagers and problems of that. That was too boring.

You also had very attractive materials about the culture and events of our university. But I felt the contents were, to some extent, similar to those in the last issue of the magazine. In this issue, introducing about RAH(dance club of the University of Seoul, p.26) and Dept. of International Relations(p.27) was all.

I hope that the next issue has more interesting news of our campus, to fit the name of The UOS Times. (For example, you can report on what kind of events did we hold on Teachers’ Day or on the festival in May) I will enjoy your next issue if it has various topics and events about our campus life.
