We are living in the age of overflowing information. A computer is an essential tool for surviving in this age. It is like a fire of the Neolithic Age or a sword of the Iron Age.

The computer has become important and has reached almost every household, because we, regardless of age or sex, can apply the Internet to get information at anytime and anyplace. In an information-oriented society, if you do not computerize well, you will be a failure in your life.

When asked the question, What kind of computer license do you have? Juniors and seniors comparatively have more computer licenses and use different types of software. Older students tend to have more computer training than the younger students. This may be because some seniors obtain computer certifications before finding employment.

The survey results also show that the UOS students do not utilize computers well from the point of view of self-expression. This shows that males utilize computers more than females do.

When we see question #5, the UOS students generally are not satisfied with our university in improving the ability of utilizing information. Related to question #6, they generally get information on Internet. So we know that information from the Internet has a major influence on students. Question #7 shows that over half of students learned to use a computer by themselves.

Because of this, our students seem to have less computer licenses and use less types of software. Almost all students replied that they joined the cyber community for promoting membership. This shows that the cyber community is an important part of making contact with other people. The whole survey results teach us that we need higher quality in computerizing.
