Shared Rice Omelet Festival

The ‘Shared Rice Omelet Festival’ opened in the Student’s Restaurant on May 21. This festival was originally ‘The Guinness Book of Records Longest Rice Omelet Challenge.’ But it encountered some problems with bird flu (Avian Influenza) and food poisoning because making the omelet takes a very long time even though the festival took place indoors. The food could have been tainted because of these sanitary problems. So the festival had to be changed to the ‘Shared Omelet Rice Festival.’ This festival offered rice omelet to 1500 people, students, the elderly living alone and needy neighbors after the Mini-Marathon.
