On September 6 the UOS Museum held a Cheongnyang-ri museum tour program. This program consisted of several museum tours which are near Cheongnyang-ri. About 70 people including Dongdaemun middle school students and others, participated in this program. Traveling the UOS Museum, the Cheongnyang temple, the Yeong-huiwon, the Sunginwon, the King Sejong Great Memorial Hall, the Forest Exploratorium and the Hongleung-teo took four hours in total.

The tour participants moved on foot for ten minutes. It was not far from one museum to another. The tour progressed under Gwon Sun-cheol’s guidance.

Inside each museum, guide Gwon Sun-cheol briefly explained about the exhibits. In particular, the UOS Museum offered both information about Seoul and history of the UOS. Students could understand not only the history of Seoul but also the history of the UOS. Participants were mostly middle school students and it was a good chance to inform them about the UOS. Furthermore this program offered information about Seoul’s history, culture and nature, to students and citizens by touring museums and cultural heritage sites around Cheongnyang-ri.
