Prof. Yoo Kwang Soo, Dean, the College of Engineering in the UOS has been registered in the best three biographical dictionaries. He is a world-famous specialist of ceramic sensors and electronic ceramics and he has worked on developing information perception sensoring for the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (G7).

Having received a good evaluation of his study, the ABI (American Biographical Institute) chose him as one of the ‘Great Minds of the 21st Century’ and the IBC (International Biographical Center) has also selected him as one of the ‘2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century’. In January, he was selected for the Marquis ‘Who’s Who’ of the world 2008 ~ 2009 volume.

As well as all this he is a guest editor for the Journal of Electro-ceramics. The NEWS@UOS interviewed him to know what kind of man he is and listened to his advice for UOS students. He hasn’t only achieved academic success but also tried to promote the UOS to influential people. For example, he held a few seminars on the UOS to let people know all of the UOS. Currently, he is holding the Engineering Mathematics Olympiad for engineering students.

He advised UOS students on two things. The first thing is to actively do various activities that will be useful when you get a job. The second thing is, throw yourself into a more competitive environment, that way you will learn a lot of beneficial things. After having interviewed him, it was clear that he is very enterprising person.
