The vote was for the election of the 45th student council president and vice-president.


The ‘Sidaegonggam’ campaign team published the slogan, ‘Opened Generation, Sidaegonggam’ and they powerfully advocated raising recognition of the UOS’s name and competitive its power. The contents of their election pledges are an improvement in competitiveness of tuition fees, employment, education and cultural programs, and students welfare. First of all, ‘Sidaegonggam’ mentioned freezing tuition fees and the formation of a development fund as a way to increase tuition fees competitiveness, which is the most sensitive issue with students. Secondly, they promised to propose support for career fairs and acquisition of various certifications to acquire competitiveness in employment. Also ‘Sidaegonggam’ referred to recommending expansion of internship programs and making new exchange student programs to improve UOS education competitiveness. Finally, they mentioned that planning of the UOS three-color festival and the opening of the UOS official student website would be ways to improve cultural competitiveness.

The ‘Live&’ campaign team published the slogan, ‘Together with the UOS’s alive voice Live&’ and they persisted in four election pledges and made a promise that making student council together with all of the UOS students. First, ‘Live&’ promised a total freeze of tuition fees on the basis of the experience of freezing last summer semester’s tuition fees. They also said that the student council would communicate the UOS both internally and externally by keeping various promises: holding lectures related to employment, approval of credits about internship and certification, expanding exchanges with other universities, making a China economic and cultural tour program etc. They also referred to the cutting prices of the coffee machines, installation of an additional automatic teller machine (ATM) for student convenience. Finally, the ‘Live&’ team gave their word to be a student council that will communicate with UOS students by responding to their questions within fourty-eight hours online and campus tour by the president and vice-president, etc.
