Topic 1 - Campus
Q : Please introduce yourself.
A : I entered the University of Seoul (UOS) department of Korean Language and Literature in 2002, and graduated in 2007. When I was a university student, I was not different from other students. I studied all night in exam periods, and I went to the beach with friends during vacation. I had a fun life at first, but I was busy because I prepared to graduate and enter the work force. Anyway, my best memory is of being a school publicity model.

Q : How did you get to be a publicity model?
A : At first, I didn`t think about being a publicity model, because there weren`t any publicity aides. By chance, one photographer was taking pictures of me at the Main Gate. That was the reason why I became a publicity model. Actually, I thought that I would just take some pictures. But I had to take pictures and do video recording for two weeks. It was very hard work. But it was a very exciting and special experience. Also, I could make good friends while working together. That was a very good experience in various ways.

Topic 2 - Miss University
Q : Why did you decided to participate in the competition?
A : I got to think about a lot of things before graduation. One was that I hadn`t done any social work much because I just concentrated on myself, such as what I have to do after graduation, so I felt skeptical about myself. That`s why I took part in World Miss University. As you know, this group usually does social work in various ways.

Q : What do you think are your special points that made you the winner of Ji?
A : There was no swimsuit competition, but an academic costume competition. Isn`t it unique? The academic costume competition was an in-depth interview, I prepared for this and I thought it is one of the reasons. Also friends who took part in this competition and lodged together helped me a lot. I felt they were very old friends, not competitors. Thanks to them, I could do social work and prepare for the competition with pleasure. I think I was rewarded with the best prize because I just enjoyed the whole process.

Topic 3 - Life
Q : What is your plan for the future?
A : Now I work as a announcer at TJB (SBS in Daejeon). I entered TJB two years ago after graduation. It was unfamiliar at first but now, I really love my job. I want to increase my ability for my job. I still have to learn more. Actually, I planned to go on a trip next year because I couldn`t travel often before. Above all, watching, listening and feeling directly are the best way to study, I think.

Q : Please give advice to your juniors in the UOS as a graduated senior, who went out into society.
A : In fact, I didn`t have enough experience in society, but I`ll just give some advice. First, you`d better think carefully about your goal, and it is important to prepare for your dream. Also it`s good for you not only to study in your major but to experience many things. There are some differences between your dream and reality and they make you confused. At that time, you should control your mind. For example, remember the past when you decide at first or read memos written while preparing for your objective. Lastly, don`t forget to have a positive mind. Believe in the power of positive thought!
