On March 3rd, a new student lounge on the third floor of the General Lecture and Law School Building was opened. The name is ‘Alti’ (which means ‘high’), because this place was founded by the contribution of Kim Moon-young, an alumni of the UOS and the CEO of the ‘Alti-Electronics.’ He majored in the Chemical Engineering.

Unlike other lounges that only have tables with hard chairs, the ‘Alti Lounge’ has a café-like atmosphere with soft chairs, sofas, and even tables for discussion. Furthermore, both air-conditioners and heaters are attached to the ceiling and students can enjoy watching sports comfortably through many TVs.

Above all, this place provides students a resting space and foods because the ‘Paris Baguette’ was opened, too. This bakery sells fresh breads, and various kinds of things such as sandwiches, cookies, and coffee.

Lastly, the lounge benefits the most from the distinctive constructional design of the building. The place is mostly surrounded by windows that it makes students feel more relaxed by watching the scenery outside. Furthermore, it is well-lighted that the atmosphere of the place looks bright and cozy.
