In 2 years, most of the government complex has been moved to Sejong Special Self-Governing City (Sejong) to resolve the overcrowding problem in Seoul and to realize balanced development. As the government is willing to make Sejong Multifunctional Administrative City, most of the government complex was moved including the Office for Government Policy Coordination. Yet, the government doesn’t look happy enough. Some Members of Parliament constantly complaining that “Congress” and even “the Blue House” should be moved to Sejong too. As it went through a hard time that Sejong was rejected to be chosen for Multifunctional Administrative City by the Constitutional Court of Korea in 2004, it is worthy to keep an eye on this issue whether they reverse their old decision of the court.
