Supporters of the UOS Job Platform were recruited to promote the center and its programs. The center was founded to offer extra-curricular activities and job counseling for students. The center’s vision is to help students establish their own careers through various job-related programs. As awareness about the center is much lower compared to its useful curriculums, this year, the UOS job platform recruited panels to promote the center. Every participant had to form a team consisting of at least three people and submit an outline of promotion ideas. After the evaluation, seven teams were selected as the panel. Their objective was to promote the center and its programs, continuously modifying previous promotion outlines. The goal was to make present final promotion outlines in front of the participants.

Every team received regular assignments approximately once a month. The first assignment was to produce online promotional materials such as posters, news cards, or videos. The topic was the center’s newly developed programs. The second was to design the main logo of the center. As there was no symbol for the UOS job platform, it was necessary to come up with an eye-catching design. After submitting a logo, every team was gathered to discuss the project progress and vote for the best logo. The last mission was the final presentation. Every team had to develop its own creative promotion activities to impress and win the prize.

The presentation day was delayed several times because of COVID-19. On Aug. 28, it was finally held at Centennial Memorial Hall, following the rules of social distancing. Many participants, including the UOS Vice-President, attended. The event ended successfully, with various valuable promotion outlines.

According to team Hong-Bo bot, at the UOS job platform promotion panel, as every team showcased their own creative ideas, they insisted that the UOS job platform would gain popularity and awareness by utilizing supporters teams. In addition, Hong-Bo bot said they had developed a lot in five months, sharing ideas with different teams, and were honored to have such a special relationship through the promotion panel.

The UOS job platform mentioned that if the situation improves, the center will recruit the second promotion panels. Furthermore, they encouraged UOS students to participate in various programs held by the UOS job platform.
