Though the whole world was scattered because of COVID-19 this year, we’ve gone through pretty well this year. Responding to the increasing number of confirmed cases nationwide, UOS quickly changed the system, announcing that the rest of the semester would be an online class. The whole year passed with an empty campus.

The pandemic also pushed The UOS Times to make changes of our own. We had to stop printing an offline magazine since the campus was emptied. We also tried our first Zoom meeting, which was quite awkward. Though in this situation, we’ve kept in touch with our readers through Instagram and online articles. Thank you for reading our article.

The pandemic has shown the importance of student journalism. We will continue to try our best to form an unbiased public opinion by accurately informing the situation. Thank you for supporting us every step of the way in 2020.
