From this semester, University of Seoul (UOS) has changed the way students apply for classes. Multi-tabs, which was one of the main reasons for long-term waiting was abandoned. Now students don’t have to wait long to get into the application page, they can the class by just clicking the page at the recommended time. Students’ reaction to this action was positive though it became a little bit more difficult to take classes.
However, there are two more things that the university should give attention to students’ demands: To increase the number of classes and to increase the number of students. Those problems were always popped up on the Everytime, the university online community app. They feel frustrated to fail to get the classes they want because of these reasons. It leads students even to sell and buying classes. One student said and demanded, “I pay the university for taking classes, but I can’t get the ones I want because of problems that still remain. It makes no sense.”
