Department of Korean History Signs MOU with Alda

March 8, the Department of Korean History at University of Seoul (UOS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Alda for the development of humanities content. Under this agreement, Alda will jointly run historical content development and lectures given by the Department of Korean History and promote projects to popularize academic achievements. The two sides will also cooperate in human-material resource exchanges and mutual development through network construction.

Alda launched a video streaming service for humanities lectures called the 'Damureo Club,' which means “let you know all of the knowledge of the world as you ask.” The goal of this service is to gain the same position as Netflix in the humanities field. The service was launched in November of last year, and it is gradually increasing the amount of content and improving its quality. In this context, it seems that the MOU was signed with the Department of Korean History to spread and popularize the humanities.

Alda’s CEO, Lee Joon-hyung, said, "I am pleased to participate in the project to support the content development capabilities of humanities students. I will contribute to the popularization of the humanities and the development of learning in universities based on my content production capabilities." The cooperation programs will begin in the second semester.
