I did not know it would take such a long time to write “Farewell” after writing “I’ll do my best.” I started working at The UOS times in the first semester of the third grade after being an exchange student. I am grateful to the 35th reporters who led and supported me despite my deficiencies. From being an inexperienced person in English and journalism, I have grown step by step to become the vice editor-in-chief last year. I was able to lead The UOS times well with the 37th reporters because of Jeong-min, the editor-in-chief. I have learned a lot from her being always one step ahead of me and tried to improve The UOS times by bravely trying new things. I am grateful and glad that she was my colleague and editor. I am also grateful to the reporters for following me. I am especially sad that we have not been able to meet much since last year. After five semesters, I am about to graduate. I am happier and find it more rewarding to spend my last year in college with The UOS times. I will always cheer for and continue reading The UOS times even after getting out of here. Thank you for everything!

Hi, it is awful to say goodbye to The UOS Times. I cannot believe it has already been three semesters since I started working here. It seems like only a few months have passed. Although reporters could not hang out much during this period because of the COVID-19 pandemic, The UOS Times will remain in my memory as a warm and kind place. I have slept many times at The UOS Times’ office when I was drunk and had nowhere to go. I visited there many times with my homework and did nothing. Having free food at The UOS Times is the best moment I could think of. Well, it might seem like I have spent the whole time playing; but, I have actually learned a lot. I learned how to write and think like a reporter. I learned how to make article plans and put them into practice. I met so many people during this time, and my small business card that I gave them has always made me proud. I hope that the new reporters will enjoy their rights and work. I will continue to be an avid reader sincerely cheering for The UOS Times. Thanks to all members of The UOS Times, especially the editor-in-chief and vice-editor-in-chief.
