People are interested in health these days. There are various exercises such as fitness, pilates, and boxing, but it is especially suitable for running now when the weather is warm. Students can often be seen running on the campus of the University of Seoul (UOS). Running is an exercise that can be easily started because people are less worried about COVID-19 and do not need any other equipment. There are good places to run off campus, too.

Jungnangcheon Stream is a river that originates from Yangju City, Gyeonggi-do, flows south through Uijeongbu, and flows into the Han River. Jungnangcheon is one of the best places to see cherry blossoms. Now that it is the end of April, the cherry blossoms have fallen, but the scenery is green and pretty as summer approaches. Jungnangcheon has a track, so you can run along the track. The scenery is beautiful, so it is also good for taking a walk while looking around.

Seoul Forest is a place where you can run while feeling the forest. It is composed of various theme parks, so it is a great advantage to be able to run next to ecological forests and lakes. If you run at night, you can see a wonderful night view. It is also good to rest on the lawn after running.

If you are interested in running, it is recommended to use running-related apps. Like the app called “Bunfit," which records the weight and number of times when people do fitness, there are apps that help running. The UOS Times recommend the apps named “Nike Run Club” and “Run Day”. They track and give feedback on running distance, time, pace, calorie burn, and help you communicate and exercise with your friends.

If you like to see the scenery and want to do one exercise steadily, why don't you try running? The UOS Times hopes students live healthy lives.
