The infamous virus that shook the whole world started to go away from people’s daily lives. On that matter, a lot of people get to meet their acquaintances, friends, and families, finally again. As a consequence, so-called “hot places” in Seoul are now more than crowded. Hot places are places where a lot of people gather, such as Itaewon, Hongdae, Gangnam, and Jongro. However, some might be nervous to go to these places since COVID-19 has not completely vanished, so it might be too early to meet a bunch of people or go where those people gather.

For those people, The UOS Times has a recommendation; Dongmyo. First reason that Dongmyo is recommended is that there is a street of stationery markets nearby the subway station. As the “retro” and “newtro” are now newly coined terms, there can be found a lot of vintage stationery which a lot of people used in their childhood. Another reason is that there are retro-bars also nearby the subway station, with reasonably priced drinks. As can be seen in the above picture, one of the bars sells various drinks, mainly wine, and customers can pick drinks they would like to drink. Moreover, the area is not that crowded, so people can actually enjoy their intimate time.

As the world can see the light of this pandemic-tunnel, many people can finally be with their loved ones. The UOS Times wants to recommend this place to have quality time for the readers. More of that, The UOS Times also wanted readers to know that it is mandatory to wear a mask indoors.
