Reputation of UOS has been quiet. But now is the time to move on. More and more people began to recognize the UOS. I belive it’s just a start of a great upheaval and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next year.

The Idea Factory was held at the University of Seoul (UOS). It had many events and consisted of special lectures and many contests. There were special lectures about challenges and youth from November 3rd to 6th.

People who completed the challenge told students about their experience and their lessons. These lectures invited various individuals whose jobs were travel writers, an executive marketing director from Mr.Pizza, AhnLab’s CEO and so on. Therefore, students could learn more about their lives and careers through the lectures.

Many contests were held on October 31st to November 20th. There were various contests like English speaking, hacking, programming and creating the Dongdaemoon-gu culture business idea contest. The culture business idea competition was about creating a plan that would make culture business more active.

Three universities participated in this contest which are all located near the Dongdaemoon-gu because these students will be able to earn an income as a result. These various contests are reviewed intensively by competitors. More importantly, because the Idea Factory involved many other university students, this event could give students some momentums to develop their creativity and let people know more about UOS.
