Dapsimni Film&Media Art Center was newly opened as part of the Dongdaemun-gu “Creating a Street of Movies” project in June 2022. The center is a complex cultural space for film and media arts to revive the meaning of the Dapsimni General Film Studio, which made the heyday of Korean film, and to spread media culture.
Dapsimni Film&Media Art Center operates a movie exhibition hall and a movie theater to preserve and inherit the historical and cultural values of Dapsimni Film Studio, including Korean film history. It also provides professional film arts experience and experience, training media professionals, and operates a cinema library.
