On December 23, the Korean government announced that the indoor mask will be released in a step. The Headquarter of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency said that they are going to phase out the indoor mask mandate considering the Covid-19 and the risk of facilities. She also said that the government will change the mandatory to recommendation when the medical environment can be maintained stable.
The quarantine official is going to phase-out in two steps. In the first stage, indoor masks will be encouraged to be put voluntarily. In the second stage, mask mandate will be released at all places, and make a recommendation to put on the mask when it is necessary. This will be launched when the serious level of Covid-19 is lowered to the level of caution. The citizens are generally greeting the decision of the government made.
