The University of Seoul (UOS) held the Daedongje Festival for three days from May 22 to 24. The name of the event was "SIESTA: Under the Blue Sun," and the dress code was "Blue." Booths prepared by various departments and clubs were prepared from place to place on campus, ensuring students had a good time. And there was a photo booth installed in the Student Center, so students were able to take photos with the theme of "Daedongje." Mini-Viking and Disco Pang Pang were operated in front of the Student Center to further entertain the festive atmosphere. In addition, for the various performances that students were most looking forward to, UOS operated the "SIESTA Zone" so that students could watch the center stage at the front. The zone, which can accommodate about 1,200 people, was only allowed to enter by people with paper bracelets distributed on a first-come, first-served basis every day. On the first day, they were able to see performances by the central club and small groups, as well as the opening ceremony, the UOS song festival, and Han Yo-han's performance. On the second day, they could see performances by the central club and small groups, the UOS song festival, and performances by Kwon Jung-yeol of 10cm. On the third day, they were able to finalize the festival by enjoying the performance of the central club, the cheering match of Amicus, the cheering squad of UOS, and the performance of An Ji-young of BOL4. Students had high expectations as it was the first festival to enjoy since the mandatory wearing of masks was lifted, and in particular, many freshmen were waiting with joy. As a result, thanks to the UOS and students' great preparation, SIESTA was able to make three beautiful days with pleasant memories.
