The 2023 Union of Europe Football Associations (UEFA) Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan took place at Istanbul’s Ataturk Olympic Stadium on 10, June, 2023. By a score of 1:0, Manchester City won the trophy “Big Ear,”  securing their first-ever UEFA Champions League title. Every player on the European stage dreams of lifting “Big Year.” “Big Ear” is a trophy given to the winning team of the UEFA Champions League, called the “war of stars.” City became just the second English men's team to complete the treble.

It was Rodrigo Hernandez Cascante who broke Inter’s hopes by heading the opening goal in the 68th minute. With all players doing their part, one of the most brilliant players was Erling Braut Haaland. Haaland scored his 45th goal during all tournaments of this season, and has broken the existing record. He became the history himself.

The team was welcomed back by fans at Manchester Airport on Sunday after traveling from Istanbul, where the European final took place. Thousands of Manchester City fans all over the world gathered again to celebrate this historic Treble in the rain. Even though the parade was delayed by the heavy rain and lightning, tons of fans celebrated their team’s historic Treble as they staged an open-top bus parade through the City of Manchester.
