The Global Ambassador of the University of Seoul (UOS), GLOU, was established in the fall semester of 2023. GLOU, which is a combination of Global, Glow, and You, aims to promote UOS to the wider world and support international students at UOS. The first GLOU is being run by international students from Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Kazakhstan, who are divided into three different teams: presidency, design, and content.

  GLOU’s activities are mainly focused on attracting not only international people but also multicultural high school students in Korea through regular briefing sessions conducted both online and offline in various languages. In addition, it creates diverse content related to information about UOS, including international supporting organizations, scholarships for international students, and students' dormitories on Instagram and YouTube. GLOU plans to organize numerous events, such as campus tours, for international visitors as well.
