Living as a university student can be tough and exhausting at times; however, when looking closely, there is a great deal of happiness amid ordinary days. The UOS Times explored some of the benefits provided to university students to help them find tips they have missed. The benefits can be divided into two categories: benefits for all university students and benefits only for University of Seoul (UOS) students.

  First, various benefits are provided to all university students. The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art provides free tickets for all of its exhibitions, and the four main palaces in Seoul also offer free entrance to students under the age of 24. Moreover, the Seoul Art Center offers a 40 percent discount to people under the age of 24. There are also many advantages, including the youth discounts with Korail (Korea Railroad Corporation), free downloads of Microsoft Office 365 applications, and discounts on electronic devices through the Univ Store (student welfare store). Finally, university students can obtain significant discounts on many musicals and shows using the Uniket website.

  There are also benefits only for UOS students. UOS is one of the schools that has an alliance with the Oral Proficiency Interview (OPIc), which offers its students discounts on the examination fee. Additionally, numerous healthcare facilities are partnered with UOS, such as Sky Eye Clinic, Live Dental Hospital, and Seoul Best Medical Clinic. Moreover, there are programs open to UOS students, such as the Comento intern service, Siwon School TOEIC, and certificate programs.
