Dear The UOS Times readers,
Hello! I am a new Cub-Reporter, Koo Ji-hyun. I am very excited to be a member of The UOS Times. I will never forget the moment I applied for this position. I was thinking to myself, “Will I be able to pass exams I need to take in order to be a cub-reporter?” I also prayed to God, “God, I want this so badly.” Finally and thankfully, I passed the two major exams and here I am writing ‘chitchat’ as a cub-reporter of The UOS Times.

Since I have great interest in writing and interviewing people from diverse backgrounds, I am truly excited about the activities that I will do as a member of The UOS Times. In addition to this, I am looking forward to writing a variety of articles and accumulating new and fun experiences here in The UOS Times. As a member of The UOS Times, I will do my best to provide you with accurate and enjoyable articles. See you soon!

In 2009, I still remember how happy I was to become a member of The UOS Times as a freshman. The UOS Times gave me many things such as experience that might help me in finding a job, free space to study or rest in and most importantly friends. I really respect my fellow workers for putting a lot of effort and time in The UOS Times work. It was not always an easy thing to study my major and write articles at the same time.

However, my fellow writers were so passionate about The UOS Times and worked night and days in order to provide more meaningful articles to UOS students. If I recall the past at this moment, those times we gathered around to have meetings about the magazines were so precious, I will never forget those. It was an honor to have an opportunity to write an article for the last time as a The UOS Times reporter, as I’ve always appreciated your interest in The UOS Times. Thank you.
