Starting from Sept. 25, the Dreamsketch project, an educational volunteer program for teenage students in Dongdaemun-gu, began. It has been pushed ahead by Dongdaemun-gu and practiced since 2012. Last year, 104 university student mentors from Kyung Hee University and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies taught 425 teenage student mentees. This year, after screening the applications, a total of 48 student mentors were chosen on Sept. 24, and were given an orientation on Sept. 25 at the Dongdaemun-gu Office.

Each student mentor teaches about four to five teenage students on the main subjects and gives advices to them as a mentor. Mentors have to teach their mentees two hours a week and ten times by December. The studying activity is held in selected public areas like schools, Dongdaemun-gu Education Vision Center and such.
