Hello. I am Kang Rae-hyun in the Dept. of Civil Engineering, a peer-reviewer of The UOS Times this semester. I have not had a chance to come across The UOS Times magazines many times. However, from now on, I will evaluate the magazines a lot so that those who have not learned about The UOS Times can get to know it more than before. In addition, I will try hard to make a better magazine!

Unlike other university press, I think that The UOS Times does not have a wide readership. I also did not read The UOS Times magazine because of the obscure pressure from the fact that it is written in English. I perused the magazine for the first time as I applied as a peer-reviewer. The UOS Times delivers very academic contents with proper proficiency in English. It is the scholarly magazine of a high standard, yet the writing was not difficult to read, which made me hope other students would read it as well.
The first aim that I set when I became a peer-reviewer is to broaden the readership of The UOS Times. I will try to pass on the contents of a good quality to more students through appropriate promotions. The second aim is to transfer the readers’ opinions to the reporters of The UOS Times to improve communications between them. Of course I will include personal evaluations of the magazine, but I will also try to represent readers’ point of view in general by discussing with friends around me.
