The 2015 UOS Festival will be held during the make-up week, from May 20 to 22. The festival has four main themes: participation, communication, harmony, and diversity. The Student Council is working in tandem with a number of Central Clubs such as CUCA and AMICUS to make this year,s festival truly one for the students.

On the first day of the event, a marathon is being organized by the Student Council. It will be a 4km race to the plaza at Cheongyangni Station and back. Following this event, another will encourage participation not only from staff, professors and students, but also from residents in the neighborhood, who will be invited to make bibimbap together. Then, throughout the night be ready for some loudness on campus: bands from different majors are playing at the Baebong Rock Festival.

The Student Council is also planning a talk show with Gwak Jeong-eun, in a manner similar to the counseling panels about love and dating on Gwangjang, the UOS online Community. Thursday will be a day of harmony, with a variety of events from games on the central stage to a singing contest, followed by a celebrity concert. The very last day of the festival will accent the theme of diversity with performances from the Central Clubs of UOS, invited celebrities, and lastly, a club party.

Cho Chang-hoon, president of Close-Up, mentioned that there is room for changes, and the Student Council is reviewing the events based on budget and practicality to finalize the schedule for the festival as soon as possible.
