On April 16, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., there was a vote for choosing chairs and desks in Citizen Culture Education Center. In front of Cheonnong Hall, 1,154 students and faculties cast vote for desks and chairs that they hope to be installed in this new building. There were three candidates, and the two sets －chairs, and chairs with desks－were presented for each candidate. Chairs with desks will be located in the lecture room, and only chairs will be put inside AV room, where people can watch various films.
Each chair and desk’s design is different from one another, especially in their colors. Candidate A has green chairs for AV room and blue chairs and brown desks for lecture room.Candidate B has dark blue chairs and brown desks, and Candidate C has red chairs and silver desk.
Candidate A got more votes than its competitors, with 461 votes. With some revision of design, from metal to wood in the front part of the desk, those chairs and desks will be put on Citizen Culture Education Center.
On this June, Citizen Culture Education Center will be opened to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the University of Seoul. Therefore, this poll was meaningful for all of the members in UOS.
