A new look for the library has appeared at the University of Seoul(UOS). The Main Library was remodeled and the library of the Centennial Anniversary Hall has been newly built. While it is already well known that the central library’s environment has been improved, most UOS students do not know much about the new library at the Centennial Anniversary Hall.

The new library at the Centennial Anniversary Hall is situated on the floor. In this place, there are plenty of novels and DVDs. Also, eight study rooms are located in this library, and some tables have been provided in this room for reading or studying. Users can reserve this facility by contacting to librarian and submitting a student identification card which is a representative of reservation. If students get to know this library, the geographical advantage of the Centennial Anniversary Hall would be useful because it is located close to the Front Entrance of UOS.

The interior design of the Main Library has been changed through remodeling. For a long time, the library’s structure was out-of-date. However, it has been turned into modern style, especially the 3rd floor, which has four study zones. Among these rooms, the first and second reading rooms have been redesigned into “zero-decibel zones.” There are two changes to these study zones, which include the fact that the wallpaper became white and seats were produced in various types. Furthermore, the design and form of these study rooms is new.

Not only have their structures changed, but their method of use has changed as well. After the renovations, users can select a verification number and unlock the door. The reservation system is available through a mobile reservation system application.
