During the last winter vacation, construction was going on to build a restaurant in the Natural Science Building and the lounge in The 21st Century Building.

The previous restaurant had been used for the staffs of the school, which means that it was available only for 200 to 300 people. With the renovation, however, it was enlarged to accommodate 40 more seats. Also, there was a whole construction in the kitchen area which now provides more convenient service. The most notable change was an installed conveyor belt for used dishes.

It becomes possible for students to place the hole plate without assorting it. Before the construction, there was no division between the restaurant and the Free Zone. But now there is a wall between the two areas, which makes each more distinguished from the other. Especially, Prof. Chung, Dae Hyun and students of the Division of Environmental Sculpture participated in wall painting in the Free Zone.

The suggestions of students were also reflected in designing the interior. The drinks became more various and the quality also improved. A stand bar has been installed on the wall side for the efficiency of the area.

The 21st Century Building, which was used for displaying arts, has recently changed to a place where students could use freely.

About 30 computers and a few tables were installed at the lounge of The 21st Century Building. Vending machines are in there for anyone who wishes to use them. Also, there is an administrator whom we can always ask for a help. Now, it is a useful place for students, it is because students can study or talk whenever they need to.
